What's for sale (Internationally) that's interesting Thread

Recommended Posts

I figured it might be worth it's own thread to share interesting Porsche finds on the international market.

I'm sure there will be an interesting mix of rare, unusual cars, cars with prices that seem ridiculously good...and prices that are just plain ridiculous!

Let's start with the Sultan Of Brunei's 964 3.6 Turbo X88.

Wow that's lovely. 3.8 on ITBs would be nice. I dreamed about that if my 964 engine went bang.

But 95k for a replica plus shipping....that's gt3 money. Would probably cost every bit of that to build with local C2s at 60k plus.

Hopefully the thread works.

For sale in South Africa for AUD95k. 1989 so can be imported.

Looks incredible

1989 rule implies that a vehicle must be built before 01.01.89 , which in practise rubs out any chance of a 964 being imported under that rule

The entire showroom:

Sorry for the blurry pic.

They had a 997 Targa (silver one visible at the back), plus a 997 GT2 and a couple of other late model desirables.

The Jag F-Type left me underwhelmed - I'm sure it's an awesome car, it just looks like generic modern sportscar.  Maybe that's what happens when you park it between a lime green Murcielago and a bright orange Gallardo, though.

Worth a 5 minute peruse along the stock list : http://sanfranciscosportscars.com/cars-for-sale.html
