Pauly Posted 23June, 2014 Report Share Posted 23June, 2014 You'll use it 2-3 times then get over it. The only useful thing would be reading trouble codes. Which helps when diagnosing engine issues. I have an Innovate lm-2 which is a data logger and OBD2 reader.. I have the analog connections hard wired into my 944 for constant logging when i need to. (rpm, afr, boost, maf & TPS) The only time i ever used the OBD2 plug was for my uncles bmw e39 530i when one of the VANOS solenoids failed. We wouldn't have figured it out with out viewing the trouble codes.
