twood Posted 26June, 2014 Report Share Posted 26June, 2014 What about celebrating the Christmas season by organising a get together for the SE Queensland contingent of PFA members. My Christmas season is always very busy socially so an early date claimer makes it much easier for planning. My suggestions are: A drive and lunch somewhere in the SE corner of Qld Book a café or restaurant in Brisbane for lunch and get together (include partners?) with a large enough car park or street parking to display our cars I am happy to host a pizza lunch/BBQ and drinks at our house in Coorparoo for up to 25-I have a wood fired pizza oven in the back yard and enough seating cutlery and crockery for the numbers I am throwing the idea out there and would appreciate suggestions and ideas. BENC4S Posted 27June, 2014 Report Share Posted 27June, 2014 Sounds like a great idea ! I'll bring the anchovies !! But seriously yes I agree forward planning is a must - shooting weddings most weekends I'll go with the flow on dates, December isn't too busy at the moment with work but am happy to go along with whatever is decided .. :0)

Steiny Posted 27June, 2014 Report Share Posted 27June, 2014 LOL - this is a great idea. Maybe we pencil in a date first and then work out the details. I've no plans at this stage in the lead up to Christmas. Like the suggestion of wood-fired pizzas. Maybe a picnic spot where we can have a BBQ? You'll need something just as spectacular to happen to someone else before the rest of us put it behind us
