Thanks to Nathan for the design of the above flyer, and Cal for the photos. Ill put the above on display at TD Automotive, Samios Foods, and Car Care Products.

There will be prizes given out too (all pretty informal, decided by the following people)

  • Theo from Samios Foods will be giving out a prize to his favourite car
  • Dave and Rob from Car Care Products will be giving out a prize to their favourite car
  • Penrite has also come on-board and are promoting this on their sites

If you're looking for vehicle care/detailing supplies Car Care Products is open Saturday until 12:30pm and conveniently located just up the street from the event. Also a big thanks to Samios foods for the event location as well as providing excellent food and help with organisation (and prizes)

I'm in the process of sending this to:

VW Drivers Club of QLD
Porsche Club QLD (thanks Ken)
Jaguar Drivers Club of QLD
Aston Martin Owners Club

Let me know if anyone has some contacts among some like minded car clubs/enthusiast groups where we can get them along too.

Hey all. After some discussion with Russ about supporting a charity with Cars & Coffee, I have invited Steve Whitehead from Herston Ronald Mcdonald House along tomorrow morning. I have asked him to bring along their donation tin. For those who are not aware of what Ronald Mcdonald House do, http://www.rmhc.org.au/herston-qld. They are currently raising funds to build a new house so they can accomodate more families. So keep an eye out for the tin, it's not mandotory to donate to attend but every dollar helps. See you all tomorrow!

So ill. I tried to get into the wagon to come down to do the photos, but I just couldn't function. Luckily we have plenty of images from the last 3, so we can wing the flyer for next month. Sorry guys.

How was it?

no worries Cal, hope you and the family are on the mend

I think the weather, long weekend and other car events kept some people away, but had a great turnout (around 60 from my count) and more variety of cars yet again!

saw a Toyota Sports 800 which was Toyota's first sports car, Corvette C1, Mustang 'vert, Ferrari 328, heap of Porsche, Fiat 128, 124, Alfa GTV, couple of Clubmans, and an Audi R8. Also had a 914 along!

Was a good day thanks to everyone for attending, and thanks to Cal, Nathan and Theo for the preparation help

I'll put the thread up for the next one soon

Unfortunately I didn't have my camera but I did see quite a few serious cameras in attendance. Might be an idea to put the word out to share photos on the PFA or Cars and Coffee Facebook pages.

i noticed this for all the jdm meets- thousands of DSLR's in attendance, for a total of three photos uploaded lol

i think some people just like to accessorize :P
