How does a 24yo afford a 458?

Loses licence

He sold the high-performance car to a 24-year-old Hurstville man, who was caught on Sunday morning at 1am doing 120km/h in a 60km/h zone on King Georges Rd not far from his home.

Lucky sperm club?

Drug money?

Day trader?

I mean insurance would be astronomical , for a start

The incident will increase his premium for sure.

Luckily there were no prams around. DH.

I lived in the area for over 10 years. Rockdale, Kogarah, Carlton and Hurstville. I know exactly what a 24 year gets up to in the area and I can assure you if he was a genius software designer earning millions, he would not be living in the area. It is more likely a young man still living at home with his parents and peddling in other things other than software. People who live in the area know exactly what I am talking about.

Sniffer doggies will be earning their Pal this week.

The best punishment would be to return the car , engine revs limited to 2000, max speed 50k for a couple of years

So many haters, I won't make the judgement call as to where the kid got his $$$ because aside from not caring, I don't know the guy and there is plenty of loaded asian families in hursty, I am hardly surprised! bloody media hysteria! Idiots drive that road 80-90 + kph every day of the week in peak hour... It shouldn't be 60kph! If you know the road you'd agree.

There's a lot of examples of this near me (which is not that far from the areas detailed in the OP)....and to be honest, the profile of the drivers is pretty consistent. Now I'm no racist, but there's no other way to describe them but "young men of middle-eastern appearance".

Even more ridiculous than this 458 driver is the young man up the street from me who recently took delivery of his Lamborghini Aventador....no, I'm not joking.

As for insurance, I know for a fact that the Aventador is not insured at all (except for statutory CTP). It really is all dodgy money, drugs, gangs, fraud, etc etc.

It really does make the lack of any compulsory property insurance in Australia look very silly doesn't it.

There's a 21 year old here with a Murcielago he parks at a servo where he works in a 'less than salubrious area'. Got a pic of it and he wasn't too happy with me doing it either. Arrogant little twat too

He's of middle eastern origin.

The Ferrari I went for a crazy ride in after I installed some robes at a guys house, he was of the same origin and covered in 1%er tattoo's.

He had some cool toys and a nice bloke.

This thread is another great example of how to drag a Forum down to sad depths.

Honestly, it is better to post nothing, if all you have is this :(

A non Porsche owner could make some of the same ridiculous conclusions about forum members after reading this type of thing.

I just finished reading the book Crazy Rich Asians. It's an eye opener as to how many of these old money families have properties and family bases in Australia.

Having said that - not wanting to stereo type the owner into a particular country of origin - my near neighbour is 19 years old and has two cars in his carpark. A 997 RS3 and a Ferrari 430. Both are his company cars. He is an owner of a media business.
