[BNE] Drive to 'Pit Stop Cafe' Mt Mee - Sunday 1st Feb

Recommended Posts

Not sure if I'm over stepping the bounds here, or if there are any rules for posting a suggested drive...? If so, I apologise up front...

Just wondering if any Brissy Porsche drivers would like to do a run up to Pit Stop Cafe at the top of Mt Mee over either of the next couple of weekends? [or a run out to Nash Cafe at Esk...?]

Thinking about meeting up somewhere central in Bris-town and then heading out over Mt Nebo, drop down into Samford, turn left and head out to Mt Mee via Dayboro.

Any takers?

Maybe a 7am start at a cafe somewhere in Bris for breaky/cappuccino and then a drive.

Might be some interest from those with working and effective AC :o

The only thing you should apologise for is using  the term "P car" only 2 more key strokes and you have Porsche

Just kidding, its a personal annoyance.

The regular SMT will probably start up in Feb but nothing wrong with putting it out there now.

** edited accordingly :)

Cool Caledonian - let's see who has AC - although I'm hoping the mornings might cool down for some window down action anyway. I much prefer it that way!

All good GRR997, you're using the forum exactly for the purposes intended - getting together for a drive, and then nattering about it, and other Pcar things! ( :P  :D )

You might want to add one of these to attract more attention to your event...

Yep - been there, done that on my (previous) 964.  As you'd realise from the instructions, getting the bush out is the trick.  Once you've done that, installation is NOT the reverse of dis assembly.  Unfortunately for you, I'm in Brissie, otherwise I'd say come on over...

That said, it's not rocket science, just time consuming and messy.  Assembly is easy if you've bought urethane bushes.

Edit - it's not Tomo, but Mike who needs the bushes done, and Mike's in Brissie!  PM sent.
