Kerry Posted 9April, 2015 Report Share Posted 9April, 2015 I agree P. As an aesthetic object - v cool! As a functional object to get you from A to B...
Coastr Posted 9April, 2015 Report Share Posted 9April, 2015 It doesn't look excessively slammed to me. You might even get out of a driveway.

JustJames Posted 9April, 2015 Report Share Posted 9April, 2015 The lowering is fine, and I like the wheels a lot. But the wrap and the under-width tyres...not so much.
JV911 Posted 9April, 2015 Report Share Posted 9April, 2015 Cant go wrong with rotiform wheels! They can be nice but I'm yet to see a set that fit properly. They are all too wide with the wrong offset which means having to put 205s on a 9" rim with 5 degrees of camber so the guards don't scrub. Then others congratulate them on getting them to "fit"

Russ Posted 9April, 2015 Report Share Posted 9April, 2015 I'd drive it with a bit of a lift and wheels/tyres setup properly. I hope all this hard parking and stance stuff just goes away.
Airhead Posted 9April, 2015 Report Share Posted 9April, 2015 It would look even cooler if it was a Cab with a hardtop on.

Probably what the old guys said when young fellas started removing bodywork and creating hotrods. I don't think this scene is going anywhere any time soon. J.J. Posted 9April, 2015 Report Share Posted 9April, 2015 Each to their own. I dont mind a bit of tyre stretch on the right car. Not so much suited to Porsches but can still appreciate the look

Mike737 Posted 9April, 2015 Report Share Posted 9April, 2015 I'd drive it with a bit of a lift and wheels/tyres setup properly. Drop the undersizing on the tyres and about 1/2 inch more lift and it should be fine to drive. Notice it has the aerokit - rear bumper and side skirts. Mirrors looks like they've been switched and has the red tail light extension bridge underneath the rear deck lid. Does anyone know much about that extension, was it only on series 1 cabs? I can't seem to figure on what cars they were supplied for the 996.

clutch-monkey Posted 9April, 2015 Report Share Posted 9April, 2015 never seen a rotiform wheels used for anything else other than stance. they are not serious wheels, i.e for motorsport etc. which makes them bloody expensive for what they are imo! T-Man Posted 10April, 2015 Report Share Posted 10April, 2015 Yep a little too much stretch for me, but I really like the overall look. Rims in an inch or two narrower would be sensational, particularly in what seems to be a red anodised.
