MFX Posted 19October, 2016 Report Share Posted 19October, 2016 Looking good. How are the throttle bodies coming together? I am very interested in how you go with all that, as I am starting to think about that end of things now.
neill Posted 2November, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 2November, 2016 Throttles are progressing well. Waiting on the trumpets for it now. I have a friend doing it for basically free so I can't rush him too much. In other news, the wheel lips arrived. neill Posted 20January, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 20January, 2017 Apologies for the lack of updates. Had my first child recently whom is now 9 weeks old. Today was my first real day of work on the car since she arrived and I managed to sort out a little bit of damage on the rear of the car and spent the rest of the day at my friends workshop making the spacers required to get the wheels fitting exactly right.Pictures are of the final outcome. Rear panels are basically sitting in place for the photos, so don't judge the gaps. I have the required parts coming in the mail to be able to fit the engine. It will then be off for wiring and a few other jobs, so hopefully, it isn't too far off completion. MrRPJ Posted 23January, 2017 Report Share Posted 23January, 2017 Loving the dish on rears!!!!! 2 questions. do you still have the steering wheel the car came with is it for sale? and second do you have any pics of your brake adaptors and did you make them? neill Posted 24January, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 24January, 2017 I do still have the original wheel, I will dig it out and send you some pictures. I have no use for it.Brake adapters are a work in progress at the moment actually. I'll put some updates on that when I get pictures, etc.I actually ended up using Subaru 4 piston front calipers as the offset better suited. MrRPJ Posted 31January, 2017 Report Share Posted 31January, 2017 I was wondering if AMG callipers or skyline would work as I'm pretty sure the hole spacing is the same

Especially after watching @MFX and his fun Just got the front screen in. Start the ropes at the bottom, and work 20cm along at a time in both directions. That worked for me in the end. neill Posted 15April, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 15April, 2017 Screens are in. Had two friends helping and it wasn't to hard at all. Front is definitely harder than the rear, but even it we got first try. MFX, LeeM and BlitzKonig
