Porsche 964

As the title says, I'm after a Porsche 964. Must be a coupe and manual, I don't have a preference for 2WD or 4WD. I'll be a little flexible with colour, but the interior can't be too 1990's!

I know they're thin on the ground as I've been following the market for a while, so any leads via PM would be much appreciated.

"Too 1990's" aren't you missing the point? ;)

best of luck on the search!

Well there's 1990's good colour combos, and there's 1990's bad colour combos :) Red with a tan interior with red piping was too 1990's for me!

how much can you spend?

my philosophy is that everything is for sale at a price..

1990, c2, man, red, 91,000kms, tan interior!!

no service history, book is lost in previous owners estate.. car runs perfect.

I'm thinking the first number needs to be a "1".....

I'll see that and raise it to the first 2 numbers need to be 12, for a black interior with books and full history, Oz car, nothing 'lost' previously!

Get in quick as next week it will be 13...:P

*not really for sale

I think the question that's being asked is what are you prepared to spend? The room is indicating 100k + (possibly more for red piping) :)

I am prepared to pay market price for the right car. I've been looking for a long time so am aware of prices.

For future reference, a red manual car with tan interior (and red piping) was just on carsales for $75k. The price jumped around a bit while it was listed.

Its very hard to determine a market price with only very few cars advertised as being available..................

The 75k C4 your referring to I believe was helped by it being the only man coupe available at the time, I would consider it as the new 'baseline' and expect anything new to the market to be north from there.

Haven't seen a C2 man coupe on the open market in almost 12 months. As mentioned above, I'd expect if one does come up it will be advertised near enough to 6 figures.

Tan interior is almost as bad as blue.

hey!!!!!!!!!! I resemble that remark!!

also, that last one advertised, had 200,000kms!!!!!

I think mine is rare it's under 100,000kms.. which is why I am loathe to drive it much...

If I do sell it soon, i'd like to get something like this hotrod on ebay usa...

I looked at this one, nice but mostly cosmetic, engine not hoted up. I'm looking for an older coupe to build a track weapon my self. Having 2 targa's I don't feel they are right to hotrod, although could be cool.
