Lots of k’s though. Would that scare most people off?

Would that scare you off?

Indicated Kms are important when looking to purchase a car for sure, however the more important aspect would be if the speedometers indicated distanced travelled is genuine or not; speedometers alone cannot be trusted as an accurate indication as to the milage history of a given car of this age. A thorough verification of the cars ownership and service history starts to tell the real story. If I liked a high km car enough to look at purchasing it would do my due diligence starting with a PPI by a trusted specialist piecing together the history etc..

Car condition and how it drives is the key criteria for me; supported by the above you can find high km car to be a real gem

The other thing I have noticed more often than not is that not all owners are recorded in the ownership/maintenance manuals which makes the verification process harder.

I have purchased a high km gem, as well as many low km cars. To be honest I find the gem of a high km car is much more fun to own as your not so concerned about putting kms on the car  (perceived value issue) just keep the maintenance up and drive the wheels off it.

The engine specs on that red one make for tasty reading!

True enough. That front spoiler has to go though!

Is this the state of play for 964s?

I doubt it.  An asking price is not a selling price...

Anyone here buy the white one? I was quite curious how modified the car was but didn't make time to take look :)

I recall some time ago removing one of my ads from Carsales (which I was also watching) and getting a “SOLD” email when doing so. So many cars show SOLD hen reappear shortly after, I wouldn’t try to judge the market based on carsales ad movement too much.

Hmmmm...looks like this car has an engine cutout switch fitted, a driver side racing bucket seat and fire suppressant system plumbed in....so you all know what that implies with regards to how this car may have been treated.

Yep, the way it was meant to be!

Tracked cars (either lightly or heavily) are very often maintained to a much higher level than something that has sat. Owned and cared for by genuine enthusiasts rather than posers. Still top dollar though.

Yeah that seems optimistic. Black on black and C2 adds a premium but I'd say the condition negates that premium. Unless there's something hidden in the yet to be supplied detail that tells a different story...

This came up in my email and i read it as "the most Unusable air-cooled 911". Sleeves were rolled up and gloves were off. I've calmed down now...

I'm pretty sure that is due to its turning circle!

Yes I've likened mine to an Aircraft carrier or Star Destroyer.
