What's this connection for? 930

I was poking around the engine bay of the 930 and came across this connector under the air con condenser.

Any idea what it's for?

I don't really know but at a guess I would say / think maybe the optional rear window wiper??

I'm sure someone that knows for sure will chime in .....

The wiper's there and on the other side, so that's not it.

I'll have a proper look tomorrow - maybe it's after market for a fan for the condenser (I've seen this before) but it doesn't look aftermarket.

I disagree Taz, I think it's for the turbo encabulator and definitely not a standard fitment.

I think I would need to travel back in time to find out.

It's seems to be after market. The wire ends near the air con compressor. I think it might have been for a fan for the condenser some time in history.

Checked out my 1983 930 and it does not have it.

Peter , come on - you're not taking this seriously,  and just discombobulating him!

The poor fellow has a loose connection , he must be given peace of mind.

Peel the insulation back and see if they are German wires in the correct colours.

And wait for someone with a local '988 930 to chime in with the correct answer.

I think it's for an Energy Polarizer. 

Better put the word out to the Brock/HDT crowd to find a replacement.
