Stew F Posted 5October, 2015 Report Share Posted 5October, 2015 Does anyone have the tyre speed and load ratings for a 911 SC coupe? I was just on the phone organising new tyres and the guy asked me. My reply was FIIK, but I'll find out.

carl888 Posted 6October, 2015 Report Share Posted 6October, 2015 It's on the tyre placard, if it's missing, up the back of the owners manual lists the approved tyre sizes and specifications.
Stew F Posted 6October, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 6October, 2015 Cheers. I think my tyre placard is missing. Where should it be? I I have a book. Doesn't matter anyway now. I found an alternative tyre place near home. The guy that runs it is a former 911 owner.
Mike737 Posted 6October, 2015 Report Share Posted 6October, 2015 You don't have to have the correct speed rating but you will need load rating. As long as you don't plan to go up to the speed set out in the speed rating you can select any speed you want. It's a nice way of shaving a few dollars off if you're trying to save some money for other car related items
Stew F Posted 6October, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 6October, 2015 I've decided to go with the Bridgestone potenza adrenalin re003. I have the 001's at the moment and more than happy with them. The 003 is a 92W, rated tyre so more than suitable for an SC at 270 kph and 630kg.
