Dropped past there on my way home but must have been close to 11, and there was only the blue car above with the turbo script there ( Porsche that is), and parking seems to be tight with some Nike sale on (?)

anyway maybe the next one ....

Really disappointed I missed this - I picked up the 911 on Friday and it sat in the garage at my Port Melb place only a couple of hundred metres away for most the weekend!

Will make sure I keep an eye on the threads more closely as it would be great to get along to these types of things.

cheers

Inside was fine. Club sandwich was worse this year than last due to the wind and dust and no judging. The only cars outside that looked decent still by midday were light coloured cars and the lorbek cars which were parked on pavement and had the building to sheild them whilst all the rest of us were covered in dust and graphite which is no friend of nicely restored paint.

To be honest I thought the whole thing was a let down this year, very few decent stands trying to sell stuff other than food stalls! Dan Ricciardo's 911 Hotrod was a stunner, but apart from that quite a few of the cars were on display last year. Very pleased I didn't take our other car, like you say the dust outside was horrendous, I'm still trying to shift the scratches in the paintwork from last years event after some 'kind soul' tried to wipe the dust off the bonnet with their hand....

The dust was defiantly a turn off last year, hence why it sat home this year.

Just image about twice the amount of dust compared to last year sitting on the car.

The dust was on thing, the 'judge' running his fingers all over it while 'judging' made my head spin at high rpm.

I would have excused him if he was 9 years old.
