You bought a Jeep?

Recommended Posts

They really are a pile of rubbish I tell you.

My brother recently got a near-new Lexus RX from a dealer and asked about all the used (12 of them) Audi Q7s out the back. He was told by the dealer that many people who bought Q7s (mostly on leases) had traded them in as they were too big and cumbersome, especially in underground carparks. As a result these buyers were so upside-down on their residuals that they mostly turned to buying a Jeep.

Big mistakes all round.

I try to tell friends and family to avoid Chrysler and buy something else ,,,,but people just don,t want to hear it ..

Good friend of the family purchased an SRT 300 C ,,,,,right from the start he had issues with the car not starting and also just stopping for no reason whilst driving ,,,,,,,,He had the car for around 6 months and sold it privately taking a big lose ,,,he said he just wanted it out of his life and was feed up with the dealer BS ...

percentage of cars sold and k/ms travelled verses cost per unit, the old glass house and throwing stones saying comes to mind

who could forget 964`s pissing oil and destroying flywheels

who could forget M96`s blowing up and cracking cylinder walls at an alarming rate

Metzger GT3`s spewing coolant all over their back tyres and anyone following them

not to mention 991 GT3`S throwing a leg out of bed and catching fire

not everything is rosy in P car world either.

…and rubber centre clutch…..and IMS bearing  …. wow, really are garbage.

I'd be willing to help someone out and take their piece of junk P off their hands…..cheap.  I won't charge as much as a salvage truck !! B)

My wife has a 2014  turbo diesel Grand Cherokee, bought it new and it has been a pleasure to own for the last 2 years.

Great on fuel, awesome power and standard interior equipment. Half the price of a similar spec Cayenne. I can only say good things about it from personal experience.

Must have been built on a day not starting with "M" or "F"!

lol.. in all seriousness though, I cant fault this car and would definitely buy another Jeep.. I think the latest model Grand Cherokee is a good unit

The one compelling non-negotiable reason I couldn't would be dodging the multitude of people wisecracking "you bought a Jeep?"

As I don't (yet) carry a walking stick , I wouldn't have any implement handy to beat them to death.
