turboT Posted 5August, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 5August, 2016 We have a project coming up where we want a similar look to your charcoal timber. Looks great, is that a rough sawn cedar board? And can you tell me the stain brand and colour (can't read the tin!). http://www.murobond.com.au/products_woodwash_exterior.htmlThe timber is called 'mixed hardwood'- sawn cut

turboT Posted 7August, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 7August, 2016 looks great Tom, that door had me scratching my head until I saw it in play. Will the top car be fully enclosed, or is this more of a carport setup?pretty much like a carport. Council restricted us to a maximum of 4.2m wide for the dwelling above so if we didn't open up one side we would have lost a parking space. They actually think we did give up the space - the steel structure that cantilevers the whole upper level was drawn 'very feintly'
SimonN Posted 7August, 2016 Report Share Posted 7August, 2016 had the boys around after our Autohaus drive for a bit of can crushing..Tom really chickened out. There was at least a metre between the top of his car and the roof but somehow he didn't trust us when we were saying higher, higher, higher.....So, ok, it's just as cool in real life as it is in the pictures. Harvs11 Posted 7August, 2016 Report Share Posted 7August, 2016 I week to go I see a trip wire switch to save your toes, is there anything to stop you slamming a car into the roof? You never know what curious kids will do.
