edgy Posted 19November, 2015 Report Share Posted 19November, 2015 So its not being marketed as a Cayman GT4 Cup, but Rather the Cayman GT4 Clubsport... kinda confusing as CS usually means M0030 option. Source: Hot off the press:Turns out thus far that the rumoured Porsche Cayman GT4 Cup car is the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport.Magnus Walker Approved?Updates to follow! Snowman Posted 19November, 2015 Report Share Posted 19November, 2015 As cool as it is it's also kinda pointless. It really doesn't fit anywhere as far as a series goes apart from if someone makes one specifically for it - which is something they are doing in the US. But then why have a 911 Cup series as well. They had the chance to build it to FIA GT4 regs but for whatever reason decided against doing it that way.But if you purchased one here you'd pretty much only be able to use it for club track days and that's it. JWM Posted 23November, 2015 Report Share Posted 23November, 2015 Interesting that they also said:Porsche Australia has not ruled out the possibility of a forthcoming street-legal RS that’s set to borrow many of the Clubsport’s hardware.
