Spent most of the day chasing it in a 500hp tt and through the twistys I had no chance. Billy you are a great driver, but beware the demise of parrots people... Still don't understand how you get such good fuel economy. I don't know if it the 3.2 and the 3.0, but last year I went to Canberra for the All German day and from Gosford to Canberra and return, I also only used 1/2 tank.Surprised the hell out of me as I was expecting to use maybe 3/4 each way ....I now have no problem leaving the house for a drive with only 1/2 tank as I know I have enough to go around Australia. All of us had to fill up to get home. That green machine made it there and back and still had spare. Judging by the speed he was going (ariel atom fast) I recon it must weigh 500kgs. Probably lift the carpets up and find he's drilled thousands of holes into the chassis.
itsujack Posted 6December, 2015 Report Share Posted 6December, 2015 A grand total of 475km of driving yesterday! 57L of BP Ultimate used by the 964, so that's 12L/100km. Pretty good given the mix of roads and pace... and A/C for half the trip. Plus I think I'm giving away a good 800kg to Billy

Internal air conditioning and weight savings at the same time ..... that's ingenious (or stupid .... depending what you think of Billy) ..... turboT Posted 6December, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 6December, 2015 Internal air conditioning and weight savings at the same time ..... that's ingenious (or stupid .... depending what you think of Billy) ..... the extra holes are probably what he means by air conditioning. His partner jumped at the chance to come sit in some climate control for 10 minutes (that's how I get all this girls) so guessing his ain't that flash (is any air cooled car?). BJM Posted 6December, 2015 Report Share Posted 6December, 2015 The weight saving come from not having lug around those nuisance driver aids like ABS.The navigator was quite impressed with that fancy a/c T.I told her if she let me get a second Porsche we too could have this marvellous device.
