Steve88 Posted 17December, 2015 Report Share Posted 17December, 2015 Hey guys as the topic states I'm looking to remove a leather shift boot that was placed over my gear elector when the car had its interior redone . There is nothing wrong with it but i would much prefer the rubber toggle that is actually under the new boot . My question is has anyone done this before ? Do I need to remove my centre console ? or can i just pull it out and pry it off? My centre console has the 6 cassette stacker and air-con controls Any advice would be great . Also have trouble with super puffy sun visors and read back . Doesn't seem there is too much i can do myself but again any advice is always welcomed RegardsSteve
MFX Posted 17December, 2015 Report Share Posted 17December, 2015 I know it doesn't help removing the shift boot, but I love the 6 cassette changer. That is the first time I have ever heard of one. It would have been the sh!t in its day
GUT Posted 19December, 2015 Report Share Posted 19December, 2015 Yeah they're pretty awesome. '80's at its best. I have two pop out cassette holders in mine. No idea how to get the out off though, sorry.
