MFX Posted 18December, 2015 Report Share Posted 18December, 2015 Hey guys. Anyone out there sitting on a 3.2 engine. I am starting to realise that it is a much better option to just put a 3.2 into my project rather than rebuilding my 2.7 which will never give me the performance my build needs.Jeff.0402 006 595. No I don't think so, with the VERTEX you pay a $3000 core charge, if you don't have a core to swap its $11999 + $3000. if you havea core, they refund you the $3000 when they receive it and deem it good. That's the way I read it anyway...

That's the way I read it anyway...If that is the case it sounds good for a fully rebuilt engine, but that would just be a bare engine and I need to do a full conversion, and I have to add shipping, and that is all in US dollars, and then things are starting to get very expensive...If you compare it to http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Porsche-Engine-/201486082405?hash=item2ee981a165:g:TUsAAOSw~bFWMAL3The 964 engine would more than likely be a better engine to put into my car, but I am still trying to keep to the criteria for entering events like the Classic Adelaide, and the 964 donk would count me out...I would love to get into a 3.2 for a reasonable price. If you can ask $16k (or make and offer) for a 964 complete engine, surely I should be able to get a 3.2 for less that?
