Cars and Coffee Gold Coast is coming up on 18th March. It's going to be a cracker of a meet.  We're going to have the pleasure of an ultra rare - 1 of 3 in Australia, ultra fast - the fastest car ever produced by this marque, ultra exciting - JAGUAR F-TYPE SVR. It's so precious that Bruce Lynton will be towing it on a flat bed. It'd be an opportunity of a lifetime to see, feel and hear such an exquisite vehicle.

Well it was a fine day today. The threat of impending thunder storms was unfounded but it kept the F Type SVR away. However Jag did bring down a F Pace which was great but not so thrilling. However a Buchanan turned up which was very nice and reminded me of the 50's Ferrari's. A stunning NSX added some exotica.  But my favourite were the 2 Porsche Turbos, a 930 Kremer and the 997 TT. What a wonderful Easter weekend it was. We have some very beautifully restored 50's Fairlanes, a good dose of mustangs some with superchargers an and ex hill climb champion rock up. With American muscle vs Aussie muscle it was a joy to the ears. The highlight and winner of the Car of the meet was a stunning 356 Speedster. It was mint. It's update time again. We've got confirmation that McLaren will be showcasing one of their supercars toys upcoming Cars and Coffee Gold Coast. It's gonna be a fantastic meet. I'm sure  it's going to be a great crowd pleaser. The only bummer, I offered to assist them in driving it but they flatly declined.  So sad. ?

We had another splendid meet. We had hot rods, low rider american cruisers like Lincoln Continental Convertible and Eldorado Coupe, plenty of GTR's, a stunning R8 V10, 4 Royce's spanning a 100 years, several AMG's, a DB9 and most importantly 4 Porsche's. Overall the variety of vehicles really was great. A couple of light short drizzles didn't dampen anyone's enthusiasm. We had another great day. Not as many add last month but a very good mix of cars. It was a very chilly winters morning so that was expected. The car of the meet went to a stunning 1937 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith Hooper Limousine. It was simply exquisite. He won for himself a weekend with a BMW sponsored by GC BMW. Hi guys, another Cars and Coffee Gold Coast just passed on 16th and it was great. Had 9 Porsche's out of which 3 were 928's, the highest number of 928's we've ever had. A 924 getting track prepped with roll cage and all also rocked up. But the star was the GT3 RS in burnt orange - drool. The next highest represented marque was Rolls Royce with 8. The car of the meet went to a fire engine red Ford Mustang Mach 1 fastback, it was totally immaculate. PCGC have invited Cars and Coffee Gold Coast to an event organised by then at "Byron at Byron Resort and Spa " this coming Sunday, 5th November.  I'm organising a run from GC to Byron leaving at 7.30am from Mudgeeraba. PCGC are promoting their new models and will be providing test drives as well as free gourmet barista coffee. They've also cordoned off an area for us.  The best classic will also receive a prize from PCGC. So its going to be quite interesting. There are already about 10 cars in the convoy. Let's get together and make it an event to remember.

It's that time of the month again. It's the first CNCGC for 2018 and I'm hoping it's going to be big and memorable to get this rolling. I'll have both of my front engined beauties there too, so let's make it a good Porsche event. It's this Saturday the 20th at 238, Mudgeeraba Road from 8am. See yous then. Cheers, Sohan

It was ab great day yesterday. Bring the 1st CNCGC of 2018, it attracted a bumper crowd.  Only 4 Porsche's though, a 997 C4S, 996Cab, 944 Cab and 928 S4. However we did have several American land yacths and boy they sure are monstrously big. The car of the meet went to a stunning hot rod.
