Ex Porsche Cup car with road rego. 911 Turbo built as a 934 making 411RWHP through as G50. Cosmeticaly its rough around the edges being an ex-racecar but thats not big deal. Stone chips are cool on old cars.

I won’t have it down here in time for that Tingy. At this stage I’ll get the car shipped down here then go up and get the 5 full spare sets of wheels etc afterwards.

Used to look like this...

Ultimate Hot-Rod !!!! Go baby.

Does it have the Dial-of-Death boost controller?

Road & Track said "THE STREET TURBO HAD A TURBOCHARGER THE SIZE OF A LARGE ORANGE. THE 934'S WAS THE SIZE OF A PRIZE CANTALOUPE."

(Never let it run out of Registration - you don't want officialdom probing around in there.)

Did the 1,800klm round trip this weekend to get the car and parts. Pretty sure I’m going to have some wheels for sale soon lol. The are 5 full sets of wheels in the photo lol. It took 2 of us 3hrs to pack it all up.

I’m also going to have to hunt down a more 934 wing.

Well I have some!

Simmons FR16

Custom Fuches 16”

Simmons FR17’s

Are all going to go after I do a resto on them. All will need a WB to fit.

The BBS E50 16’s on the right and the BBS LM 18”s will stay.

Unsure on the Simmons FR18’s that are on the car.

Mentioned to my wife I wanted to clean up and paint the tow hooks as there are 11ty things like this that need doing and this was the first cab off the rank before I race it in 2 weeks. So whilst I wasn’t looking she took them to work sand blasted them in her lunchtime then fitted them back on when I took our little bloke to swimming the next afternoon. She didn’t mention it to me just did it and waited till I noticed that night. Bless her cotton socks. Although I think she may be buttering me up so I work on her Charger project lol.

Before photo as I was documenting the spares.

After.

Next I’ve started the restoration work on the wheels. The 18” Simmons and BBS LM’s are pretty good as they have been in high rotation on the car for the last 5 years so I’ve started on them first. Then I’ll move to the E50’s and lastly the sets of wheels that I’ll sell off.

These are the conditions I’m expected to work under.

After. Sill not perfect but pretty decent for a track car. Once I get the bulk of the necessary work done I’ll come back and go right over them with a buff and stuff.

Yep I’d love to do a Jagermeister paint job on it. Its just so “right”

So next jobs. Car had every 16yo boys dream blow off valve on it, a genuine HKS SSQ BOV. Fortunately I’m 14 not and my mental age is about 8 so I pulled the intake pipe off yesterday afternoon took the BOV off and TIG’ed on a section of plate thick enough that if I need a boost reference port later on I can drill and tap it.

The sound is so much better. No more squealing high pitch teenage girl scream a you change gears. Just a little compressor surge.
