Snowman Posted 3May, 2016 Report Share Posted 3May, 2016 Ok - after seeing some footage from one on the weekend I grabbed one of the new 360FLY cameras and put it in my car for the last session. So far the Youtube upload seems to lose a lot of the quality I get directly onto my phone and PC - but it still gives the idea of how cool this tech is for essentially the same price as a GoPro.Sadly my lack of testing means the initial image is facing backwards - so just "spin" the image to see the front (and to watch cars go past!) edgy makes a cameo too

Snowman Posted 3May, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 3May, 2016 I have discovered this does not work playing through a browser on an iPad or phone. It DOES work on say the Youtubr Ap if you search for it - but doesn't work on m.youtube at all.Seems this new tech still has 1 or 2 bugs.

Snowman Posted 4May, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 4May, 2016 I'm going to have another play with it this weekend - move the camera to the front windscreen and see if it gives an even better result. It's a shame I can't upload to YouTube the file in the same quality as what I get directly from the camera onto my pc / phone / ipad using the 360FLY software/aps - it's immense! But - a 4min vid is like 2.5GB so...
