I fail to see how you could "miss something" when the seller has taken so much time providing such an expansive description of his car.?  You're lucky he didn't just go with, Car- buy now!

The man to get good, honest feedback on long term 924 turbo ownership is @bear924 .  He has owned & rebuilt his over the last 20 years.  I think he would say they are a fun weekend car for the enthusiast that likes to spin the spanners.

I have an S2 & can say they are the ultimate iteration of the 944.   As a weekend blaster or as a daily like mine they are the business.  The S2's are the Kings of the 944 world & their owners are the Princes of the Motorways (IMHO)?.  Just make sure the maintenance has been done & ensure the big ticket items have been recently completed & if not - bargain hard.

The 924 turbo if it didn’t have issues and was 5k cheaper would be near top dollar

I saw it last week and tried to drive it - dog

No paperwork , deferred maintenance , clutch turbo tube bushes suspension etc

Interior tidy

Yep some nice examples have changed hands recently.

If anyone is in the market for a decent S2 (burgundy in Brisbane) I might have a lead for them.

probably great value considering the work that went into it?

Just confirms that most of your $$$ spent on modifications are largely for love, not financial gain - but who am I to be telling YOU that?

Has anyone had a chane to have a look at this or knows the current owner?

https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/inverloch/cars-vans-utes/porsche-944-1989/1181686920

Before anyone throws a fit I know its an auto and they aren't the greatest but they are within my budget and I would be looking to use it as a daily driver if possible...

I know someone that has an auto and they have had it for 20 years. He has taken it out on many a drive and other than being a little slow to get going it goes very well, so don't ride it off so easily if its a daily driver that can be used for fun. Give it a try, take it for a drive.
