He has owned & rebuilt his over the last 20 years. I think he would say they are a fun weekend car for the enthusiast that likes to spin the spanners. I have an S2 & can say they are the ultimate iteration of the 944. As a weekend blaster or as a daily like mine they are the business. The S2's are the Kings of the 944 world & their owners are the Princes of the Motorways (IMHO)?. Just make sure the maintenance has been done & ensure the big ticket items have been recently completed & if not - bargain hard. I know someone that has an auto and they have had it for 20 years. He has taken it out on many a drive and other than being a little slow to get going it goes very well, so don't ride it off so easily if its a daily driver that can be used for fun.
