Shedpest Posted 6October, 2020 Report Share Posted 6October, 2020 A good friend of mine just paid mid 20's for this S2. Oz delivered, fresh motor, new suspension, mint interior, body is dent free, full leather and everything works. I now have a new appreciation for them. LeeM Posted 6October, 2020 Report Share Posted 6October, 2020 @Port 911 Post hidden mate, sorry. Sorry to be the ogre here, but if thats 'hypothetically' yours, you need to be a financial member to sell, promote or ask hypothetical questions about your own cars(s) values etc 😁👍

Only thing I can see is when I look at your profile, it says 'Member' not 'Financial Member' It's beyond my capabilities to rectify it, so admin will have to sort it out mate. I can't see anything in your pic but for the car you describe, mid 20's sounds like excellent buying for an S2. From what I've seen, good original AU cars are closer to 30+, maybe covid is bringing out some bargains. @Port 911, for all the work done on your 86, I would think easy mid 20's, it looks pretty well sorted inside and out. The cheapest on carsales is 20 (imported) and has nothing on your car.

Stepo Posted 8October, 2020 Report Share Posted 8October, 2020 I really like the polished edge with black centers, classic Fuchs look but D90. I think it could also look pretty cool in a teledial

So hypothetically if there was a Australian delivered 1986 NA series 2 car for sale with excellent history only had 2 owners, all original car bar tinted windows and aftermarket cruse control, still has original stereo fitted and in use. What kind of money would you be looking at paying for such a car. Car has around 230k on the clock. These cars will certainly chew into your maintenance budget, but you should benefit on the backside with driving confidence/reliability and resale. Being so close to me, I might well have come knocking 3 months ago when I was hunting. Unfortunately 944s still haven't quite hit their stride like the 911s have (but I think the mood is changing). That said, I would still think your car to be $23-26k given nice S2s are getting low $30s and there is a bit of a dearth in supply of nice Aussie 944s in manual... A lot of those parts (e.g. engine, gearbox etc) have been up on gumtree separately for a long time so worth checking if it's a parts car that has been put together as a rolling package. I recall Nick having a fair few 944s - red Turbo track car, black S2 etc?

I saw it advertised this morning ... it looks like a really nice example. Fishcop Posted 14November, 2020 Report Share Posted 14November, 2020 Price is currently too high at $37k - 265ks on the clock, and especially of you've got to retrieve it from Perth. But it looks lovely. https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/perth/cars-vans-utes/porsche-944-s2-1989/1261207753 Stepo
