Definitely in for a catch up day as last time and quite possibly a full day when you are close to Hobart.

so we travel 1000's of kms and you manage a 'catch up' as long as we pass by your front door?? Come on Tasmania - shouldn't we be having a 'locals' driveday where you show us some undiscovered twisties, or is everything we have heard about 928 divers actually true

Hey, if I get enough people, I'll obtain a few of these window stickers...and maybe some other swag....

so we're going in 2015?

Come-on! Just being near a 928 should make the drive worth the effort! :P

Tom, didn't you know...the Spirit of Tasmania is actually a time machine....that takes you back in time to Tasmania... ;)

Tit

I'm a relative newcomer to the Porsche scene and loved every minute of this year's Canberra SMT.  I'd love to register my interest for the Tassie drive. Tom made an excellent suggestion in an earlier thread. Why not change the trip's name to Tasmanian Targa?  With me being targa george and all, it kinda fits. What?

I am in the "definitely interested but let's wait and see" camp....

Would need to avoid the Melbourne F1 otherwise I am out.

Good call. Didnt think of that.

Sorry team, but I'm a definite nonstarter. I've just booked a trip to greece, the birthplace of modern civilisation. I leave in late april, and can't afford the extra time off. @Tit you'll have to get someone else to bring the hibachi.

Interested!

Having spent my teenage (including P-plate) years living on the NW Coast I'd like to offer up a few suggestions for consideration. Firstly the Targa Hellyer Gorge stage which is a must. Secondly my old "secret test track". I lived at one end and had a girlfriend at the other. Many late night runs in Dad's Alfa Giulia, VL Calais and even the Jeep, ah the early 90's... It's located somewhere between Burnie and Stanley...

I'll register tentative interest, very much want to go but March has a habit of bringing the outlaws into Melbourne (and I don't just mean Tom ?). If they come then it's likely I'll be a no, but for now I'm interested.

At the very least, being only 20 mins from the ferry I'll come and wave you all off, while muttering oaths at the outlaws...
