Would anybody have the correct  Bilstein part number for the B6 strut cartridge that will fit to a Boges front strut.

When I was looking around to upgrade my 87's shock/bushings I found this site quite helpful.

I bought a pair of these Bilstein HD(B6) strut cartridges late last month to fit the OE Boge legs on my May 1985 built Carrera C3.2: http://www.fcpeuro.com/products/porsche-suspension-strut-cartridge-911-38243027245

 

Apparently the change over of the struts from the old style to the new style didn't actually all occur in April 1985 and my car was assembled with the older style strut inserts. (Essentially old style have a gland nut with external thread while the new have internal thread)

 

So I have a set of strut cartridges that fit Carrera 3.2 with the OE Boge struts from "about mid" 1985 until 1989 surplus to requirements!

 

I could return these parts that are brand new, still in the boxes for a refund but return shipping isn't cheap (boxed up the pair is just over 6kg) so I'll offer these for sale here first.

 

These cost around $370 plus $115 for shipping or a total of $489USD or $523AUD
