dj454 Posted 26August, 2016 Report Share Posted 26August, 2016 I went out with my friend in his new 3.2 cabriolet and being excited obviosuly was in a lead foot mood.not being lucky enough to have experienced air cooled ownership my eye missed the small gap where the fabric hood meets the windscreen in all the excitement.at about 95 kmh under full song the wind grabbed it and flicked it up.. does that mean the hydraulics and structure is damaged.. being a late 80s car it is all electric! apparently the roof system only works when the ignition is switched halfway on not when the car is runninghe doesnt come on here but thought it would be worth checking if anyone knew anythingthanks

Coastr Posted 26August, 2016 Report Share Posted 26August, 2016 Could be anything..if you want an Internet diagnosis some pics are needed. New tops aren't cheap but might be simpler than that.
