I like that white one...from a newcomer perspective it looks nice & clean.

They can look good in white, actually just about any colour :)

No, I have just sold my 944 so I am having a cooling off period. A 928 might be on the list later in the year. I really do like this car though

For anyone who loved the recent "Boxster Bargain" special green one, try this https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-928-1990/SSE-AD-5252852/?Cr=1 :P

Owner pretending they had a  911???  or did they just get their numbers mixed up when ordering the plates.......

Nope, mine will be on the market in a few weeks

I'm mulling over a 928 at the moment...... Starting to think about one. If you want to PM me the details when you /if you decide to sell I would be interested to hear what your 928 is like.

Cheers,

Mark

It would be great!

I think @tazzieman  @KGB  @GUT @stuartbrs and @Ozvino and various others not on here all use/ used their 928s daily, I don't as I work from home, but I did try and drive it most days :)

@KGB is the most regular 928 driver I know

Mine has become a garage queen - in terms of daily driver I think they are fine, they actually run and drive better with regular use. These are cars that can easily clock over 500,000 miles without an engine rebuild

Porsche designed the Tiger Tank for the Nazis - a lot of that DnA went into the 928....

How would a 928 S4 fare as a daily?

It is my most used daily driver of the old cars I rotate. 3 days a week minimum.

With a 928 there are no negatives, just the generic ones when you are stuck in traffic.
The car , like most Porsches,  is really built for highways and byways.

Perfectly well, if it's in good shape.

I dd'd mine for 2 years.  I mean everyday all conditions, everywhere.  Majestic thing.  Only caveats; make sure your a/c is up to scratch, and on really hot 37deg+ days they don't like sitting in traffic, but will do it.  That sharky, aero snout doesn't allow much cooling when stationary.

Garage Princess now.  But when I take her out its for 2-3 weeks at at time, dd.

Follow up question, where's a good place for a PPI locally on these things

Auto Art in Thornbury is who I use.  Michael knows 928's.

I'm sure others will chime in...
