tazzieman Posted 28September, 2016 Report Share Posted 28September, 2016 These have been around a while but it's "not a real Porsche" engine But everything's "billet" so that must be goodTom has a restless mind now his 930s are "done". You'll be needing Stacker v2.
Tit Posted 28September, 2016 Report Share Posted 28September, 2016 I admit I've often dreamt about a 912 and then dropping in a polo motor. Super-cool...maybe even cooler than a 911....

To get compliance here it needs to have the same engine size. pretty cool option

turboT Posted 1October, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 1October, 2016 What sorta coin would that be all up and ready to drop in a car?see bellow. I am second inline for a $9k 912 barnfind in the US with no engine and enquired about dropping it off with these guys. At the buy price the only real cost to import would be shipping as tax would be less than $1000. I recon I would end up with a hot rod 912 with a new engine and rebuilt transmition for about $75k. It would need paint ontop however.not only is this engine cool, it would also meet compliance Hello I believe I can accomplish almost anything. A 912 with out a motor is a good place to start/Firsts, I would have to know what condition the 912 was in to give you an amount on installation. On the parts and motors I build;; here is a quick breakdown.I sell the 4 parts group; crankcase, crankshaft, camshafts, and oil pump drive. These parts are the parts particular to the 4 cylinder 911 motor. These parts are 17,500.00 dollars.A complete 2.4 ltr motor is these parts plus the parts to assemble plus the labor to put it all together.A competre 2.4ltr motor , that has been run in on a test stand is between 40 and 42,000.00 dollars. This motor will fit directly into a 912, 911 transmission. Modifications for installation would be, oil tank, rear mount, rear sealing tray over the exhaust.I have built motors and Porsche cars over time with payments as the project has progressedThank you for your email, Best Regards, Dean Polopolus From: "tom@juicydesign.com.au" <tom@juicydesign.com.au>To: deanpolopolus@yahoo.com Sent: Wednesday, September 28, 2016 3:02 AMSubject: Message From Website FormGrant from Autohaus Hamilton in Australia looks after my two 930's and when I mentioned I was looking at a US 912 without an engine he said I should contact you guys. I would love to know if I got you a car how the process would work from there and the kind of costs involved
