This is a Sachs metallic racing clutch assembly for Porsche 911 with 915 Transmission.

This is a racing clutch and you will not want to run it in a street car. The price includes the clutch friction plate and the clutch pressure plate with release bearing as shown in the photos.

The pressure plate is made by Sachs and is marked "Fichtel & Sachs AG". The Sachs part number is 3032 055 099. TYP MFZ 225.

The surface of the pressure plate where it meets the clutch friction disk is very smooth and I can't feel any kind of wear lip on that surface of the pressure plate. There is a light dusting of surface rust on the pressure plate as it has been in storage and I don't put oil anywhere near clutches - should clean straight off with a scotchbrite pad or similar.

The clutch friction disk is marked "F&S" which stands for Fichtel & Sachs. As shown in the photos, it is a metallic 6 puck racing disk.

The thickness of the friction disk measured at the faces of the friction surfaces is 7.53 mm as shown in the photo.

The friction disk looks similar in design to this 930 & G50 RSR racing disk ...

... but the disk I am selling is 225 mm diameter, so the disk I am selling is for the 915 transmission, not the G50 or 930 transmissions.

Pricewise, a 911 / 930 RSR friction disks sell for US$350 which is Australian $450 on today's exchange rate - see ...

Sachs release bearings sell for US $205 which is Australian $264 on today's exchange rate - see ...

Pelican sells the same part number of Sachs pressure plate as I am selling, for US $330.25 which is Australian $425 on today's exchange rate - see ...

So to buy a similar clutch setup new, you would be looking at approximately US$885 which is Australian $1,140 ... plus shipping from the US.

I have it listed on eBay at Australian $650 which is a fraction of the new price of $1,140, and saves $490 plus the cost of shipping from overseas, but am now open to offers on it from forum members on it, so if you want it and think my price is too high, make me an offer on it
:D

Am happy to ship it anywhere in Australia with shipping cost paid by the buyer.
