myred911 Posted 2June, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 2June, 2015 It was so easy to do, esp. when I made certain assumptions without really checking the item. The cracked paint fooled me (thought it was gel-coat), the weight tricked me and my specs need a new prescription. I tested the bumper by giving it a tap with the plastic end of a screwdriver & it gave off a metalic "ring" something fibreglass does not do. I also cleaned a screw hole and "eureka" this bumper is aluminium not fibreglass!
