alex 3.2 Posted 18October, 2009 Report Share Posted 18October, 2009 Here's my '86 Carrera. Got it earlier this year. Low kms and mechanically sound, but needed a cosmetic makeover. Took off the rear wing, got it resprayed, put on a set of colour coded 7" and 9" fuchses, plus a minor re trim where interior leather was worn. How long was the car off the road and was the final price anywhere near the original estimate? Thanks. I had the respray done at Heidelberg Accident Repairs, 54 Kylta Rd, Heidelberg. They did a very good job and stuck to the original competitive quote. The car was off the road for about 5 weeks, as the dissembly including panels off and glass out was very time consuming.
