HECTOR Posted 4September, 2011 Report Share Posted 4September, 2011 Hi guys and gals just got a question in regards to bumper shocks/impact tubes on my 85 Carrera Targa. The car has had a slight nudge to the rear and both impact tubes have absorbed the shock. No other damage has been done.My question is in regards to replacing them.I have looked on Pelican parts and was wondering if these tubes can be replaced with the Hydraulic bumper shocks that they list? are they the same as the 911 sc?I was reading the different vehicle applications they may fit but am not sure if they are interchangable or whether I have to replace with the same tube type. The list price for the tubes are $165 (US) and the Hydraulic bumper shocks are only $47.75. (US) Also is there anywhere in OZ that may sell these parts at a similar price rather than genuine Por$$$che? Thanks in advance for any feed back given.
