msaccas Posted 17December, 2016 Report Share Posted 17December, 2016 Hi AllI have just joined this group. I have just relocated back to Melbourne and importing my 911, 997. Under the import scheme I am required to get the car inspected so it can comply with Australian standards. In a pre-discussion with the inspector I have been advised that the standard my car would not comply with at present is child restraints for baby seats. I have been advised that the holes are there I just need to punch in the wholes in the trim and fit the bolts. Can anyone provide more information of diagrams that may assist. Midnight 911 Posted 18December, 2016 Report Share Posted 18December, 2016 Hi Mark,You've come to the right place.I have just imported my 997 and gone through the same process in Melbourne. The inspector is correct, you need to expose the restraint points which are beneath the carpet on your rear parcel shelf. However, you don't need to fit any bolts, just expose the fixings.
