PCAU Track Experience

G'day all,

I've just bitten the bullet and am soon going to be the proud new owner of a Cayman 987.2, so thought I would contact Porsche Australia about their driver training.

I've done a reasonable amount of track driving in other cars, but not a mid-engined one like the Cayman.

I'm sure the training is excellent, but for the same money I can perhaps do a number of track days through other means.

Any comments about the experience?

I think it comes down to your experience level as to what you will get out of it. I have done a few driver training days with PCA & being reasonably inexperienced initially I gained a lot. I did some more days after track & tour experience & found while I had moved on in experience & ability I still benefited from the training as I was approaching it at a different level. INMHO the instructors tailor their tuition to your experience level pretty quickly.
