CL997 Posted 12April, 2019 Report Share Posted 12April, 2019 Ive has this roll cage in two cars - porsche 996 c2 and a 997 turbo. The Roll Cage is Bolt In by way of the front and rear seat belt points. No cutting or welding. The cross bar serves as a Harness Bar for 6 point seat belts and potentially a HANS device (which is why I installed it). It has a lower top profile so fits all 996/997 including cars with sunroof. The cage is sound but with cosmetic scratches and surface rust on the bolts.
