928 dash repair advice

Just looking to buy at an off-market 928 that will need some good quality repairs to the cracked dash top & instrument pod and colour matching for the glove box and centre console trim.

I’ve used Dash Doctor for 911 & 924 turbo dash work before but need something more specialised for this job, as I want it done in leather (which was an option from factory).

Has anyone got experience in getting these repairs done on a 928?  I see that the 928S4 that recently (Mar 21) sold on collectingscars.com had a good quality job. This was a Sydney car.

Useful advice appreciated!

So it wasn’t delivered with a leather dash?  Suggest you need to track down a template for the leather if you want it to look factory. You might want to have the dash doctor do the repair (they can repair the cracks but not apply the final finish ) and then take it to a trimmer.

talk to Bill Moussa at leather creations in Cremorne and SS Trimming also in the Richmond area.

it will be expensive
