Windscreen protective film

I've just bought a 991 GT3 and want to do some track days with it.  It already has PPF on all the frontal paintwork, but from past experience the windscreen can take a hammering on the track.  Has anyone got experience with having protective film applied to the windscreen? What film is best?Where would you recommend having it done in Melbourne?
