gulf908 Posted 8December, 2021 Report Share Posted 8December, 2021 a friend has recently bought a 1972 2,4 E Sporto from Melbourne unfortunately there was only very recent bills and no books that came with it the Melbourne owner had it for 4/5 years and he bought it from the Gosford Museum who I understand had it for a similar 5 years originally sold through Chateau Motor in Adelaide the c/n indicates a late '71 build Aubergine with tan interior and an aftermarket sunroof - done in Canberra repainted done in a dark aubergine - almost black in the pics can anyone give us any owners history or service history since day one ? cheers Dennis 😀 micknine01 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
micknine01 Posted 8December, 2021 Report Share Posted 8December, 2021 I came close to buying that car from Gosford but they were very cagey about it’s history so I ran the other way. from memory it was bought from a collection and was missing the mfi injection system and they were having trouble tracking it down. Not it’s original colour either. I’ll see if I can find the info I doug up at the time.
