Thommo66 Posted 11December, 2022 Report Share Posted 11December, 2022 Would welcome any tips from 993 Cab owners who have had challenges with the reliability of the roof opening and closing mechanism. When I bought the car I decided to get the canvas cover replaced as it was getting pretty tatty. I had a few early issues once returned to me with it not closing with the locking mechanism at the top clicking in properly. The guys at NineAuto ( where I got the new canvas roof done ... they outsourced to a specialist ) showed me how to play with with an area immediately behind the driver's seat where it evidently needs to be a certain distance. But it's an ongoing experiment trying to get it right and a royal pain in the arse each time it does not work. Anybody experienced this before and managed to get it fixed properly to avoid repeat issues ? I live in Melbourne inner East. cheers.
