Blunterbryn Posted 18March, 2013 Report Share Posted 18March, 2013 Hey everyone, this is my first post so please be gentle. Have a 2004 cayenne turbo, that I'm chasing some sort of solution for the gps Have no longer got the disc and Porsche and whereis cannot supply, they have suggested I burn a copy from a fellow owner... I realize these maps way outdated. But something is better than nothing right? Has anyone had similar situation with this or know if original CD navigation discs can be supplied? Or possible to fit newer PCM to car? Thanks for time
BENC4S Posted 8July, 2013 Report Share Posted 8July, 2013 Did you find a solution to your disk problem ??
NiX Posted 8July, 2013 Report Share Posted 8July, 2013 I had the same dilemma as you (see link below) you could replace your (CD) PCM to the DVD PCM at a cost of about $2K+. Or you can go the aftermarket unit for a little less, something like this - http://blog.autohaushamilton.com.au/2011/12/porsche-sat-nav-bluetooth-phone-ipod-mp3-cd-dvd/ Or buy a Tomtom like I did.
