Kerry Posted 27July, 2010 Report Share Posted 27July, 2010 ...goes to Count Gregorio Rossi de Montelera!"! Can anyone beat that?! OK, maybe it isn't exactly a "daily driver", but you could if you wanted to... Kerry
Kerry Posted 27July, 2010 Author Report Share Posted 27July, 2010 FYI Comrades, this site is pretty good at giving a guide to the overall Porsche road car range, but bear in mind that it is American though... www.qv500.com Porsches or this.. GJH911 Posted 12August, 2010 Report Share Posted 12August, 2010 The Count's car looks a bit 'snug' inside based on the last image on the page. Definitely cool though!
Kerry Posted 12August, 2010 Author Report Share Posted 12August, 2010 Yes indeed Greg, snug might be an understatement! I've been surprised in the past when I've seen a 917 in the flesh how tiny they are... but oh so cool! Kerry
AndyS Posted 12August, 2010 Report Share Posted 12August, 2010 Hi Kerry, Great call on the coolest daily drive. A Masarati 250F would give it a run. I have a great 'coffee table' Porsche book that has a couple of pics of The Count and his 917. Greatest race car of all time. Cant imagine using on the road. Instead of door air bags, it has two dirty great big fuel tanks under your armpits. Brave drivers. Andy S
