epilot Posted 26November, 2013 Report Share Posted 26November, 2013 Hi, the CR on my vintage racer is due and thought i would check to see if things had changed as to what you can and cant do ... previously club runs, maintenance within 10k's of home or on notification to plate registrar you could take the car further afield- not any more ! RMS website states Historic vehicles manufactured 30 or more years ago are eligible for conditional registration if the operator belongs to a Roads and Maritime Services -recognised historic vehicle club, and the vehicle has not been altered except for certain safety features or period accessories.
