cyberpunky Posted 24February, 2014 Report Share Posted 24February, 2014 Cool mines a 86 turbo so you need the bits I linked to. It's usually referred to as an under tray and is 2 piece item. 1 piece is plastic and the other aluminium and they bolt together before fitting them to car, to form basically one piece. I got both new from Porsche centre brighton, and believe they are still available new. The part number starts with 951 as it is a part unique to the turbo, and so the 944 part number you quoted would be the one for a normally aspirated(NA) model which is not suitable for your car. You could pick them up from a wrecker like Porsche a part but they tend to charge about 80% of new part cost, or get online but shipping from US something that size can be expensive, or buy new.
