blowing fuses

just on the last stretch of putting the beast back together and disaster struck. loots of smoke from under the dash, i switched off quicky and have replaced the burnt wiring, well all taht was visible.

now I have no tacho, speedo does not work, and when you put into revesse the indicator fuse blows..... any ideas, apart from taking it to a 911 specialist which i intend to lookm into Monday, but any ideas would be welcome

Sounds like a short somewhere. Its not worth doing half a job and risking a fire. Take it to an auto electrician or Porsche specialist.

No doubt a series of bodgy car alarms and or radio replacements by previous owners are likely causes.
