Removing cassette holder from console in 964

In an endeavour to slightly modernise my 964 (basically I need a coffee cup holder) I have ordered a double cup holder that replaces the cassette holder in the console. The question I have is how do I get the cassette holder out?

So I have answered my own question. It is amazing what you can see from the back seat, if you can actually get into the back that is. One screw that you can not see from the front seat and it lifted right out. It took me longer to get into the back than it did to remove the cassette holder.

yep, thats what the backseat drivers are always telling me…….maybe there is something to it after all.
