I am always amazed and intrigued in the different attitude to motorsport between countries.

Knowing just how difficult it is to get the approvals to run events in NSW and seeing the huge numbers of European events that regularly manage to blast through towns, villages and cities all with apparently high levels of support from the local people.

I wonder why is it that (largely) as a country we have this horrid attitude to motorsport and/or the whole NIMBY thing. Look at the latest with Targa Adelaide as an example, local council saying you can run an event..... every 15 months !
