twood Posted 7October, 2014 Report Share Posted 7October, 2014 When was the last time you bleed your brakes (and/or clutch)? I know - we all have our favourite oil or brake fluid manufacturers - Penrite, Castrol, Motul Supercheap has DOT 4 brake fluid on special at the moment for $3.98 for 500ml-that is a great price and I have no affiliation. This is the recommended brake fluid for many "older" Porsches. http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/bathurst/promotions/daily-deals.aspx?utm_source=edm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=MF_SCA01_2015_WK15_DD_WED
tazzieman Posted 8October, 2014 Report Share Posted 8October, 2014 I never really worry about the price of "critical fluids". If you DIY , the labour savings mean you get the stuff for free anyway Max interval for brakes for me is 24 months , usually 12-18.
