Spike0761 Posted 5March, 2015 Report Share Posted 5March, 2015 hi I curently have a 76 911 and wondering if anyone has done a conversion of the standard headlamps to H4. Would be great to hear from anyone who may have done this or suggestions on improving the light while driving at night?

Spike0761 Posted 5March, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 5March, 2015 yep, I had it done a number of years ago on my 76 There are number of good threads on rennlist and pelican Thank you for the reply, do you still have the car and any pics available that you could share? Not that I drive at night a lot with the car partially the reason is that the lights are not as bright compared to a modern car. From what I have seen the Hella is a different shape to the factory sealed lens and interested to see how they correct that or if a different H4 was used. I wonder would a reflector HID look to out of place for such an old vehicle with a clear lens??
JV911 Posted 5March, 2015 Report Share Posted 5March, 2015 Nope, that car is in the "I wish I still had it category" Nor do I have any photos on this computer but a quick google should net you a few Singer use clear lenses and it looks a bit out of place in my opinion. The H4s look spot on.
