Ross B Posted 20March, 2015 Report Share Posted 20March, 2015 Guys, Has anyone had first hand experience with these. From what I have read on the forums users seem happy with them, although increased power output claimed by the manufacture may be debatable. In most cases owners report a noticeable increase, and often report smoother day to day running. It seems on the surface a very easy power upgrade, just swapping out the OEM chip. Assuming the engine is in good condition, and all the regular maintenance has been carried out, can anyone think of any issues? http://www.promaxmotorsport.co.uk/products/76-performance-chip-968-28pin-7700-row.aspx Ross
Rob Posted 20March, 2015 Report Share Posted 20March, 2015 I ran one in my 968 and didn't experience any adverse behavior. The butt-dyno told me there was better mid-range and improved flexibility. Fuel economy remained the same at about 9-10 L/100km. I was happy with the bang for bucks.
